What is Chiropractic?

CHIROPRACTIC is the most simple and logical approach to healthcare. We all know that our brain controls our bodies and that without it, we would die because all of our cells,
tissues, and organs would no longer have a clue as to how to function on their own. Did you know that your spinal cord runs inside your spine? And that your spinal cord acts as an extension of your brain and is the main vessel in which signals are transmitted from brain to the rest of the body? It's very simple, yet extremely precise. So...we can have a brain, but if we don't have a spinal cord, we still die, due to the fact that the brain has no way of communicating to the rest of the body, our body remains clueless once again as to how to function.

Having said all this...one thing is for sure. It's absolutely absurd to think that we could possibly obtain and more importantly, maintain 100% health without a central nervous system (brain + spinal cord) that is functioning 100%.

"Look well to the spine for this is the requisite for the cause of disease."
-Hippocrates

The vital communication line between the brain and the body depends on the amazing dance that takes place between spine and the spinal cord, for the nerves extending from the cord exit via the spine. Therefore, when the spine becomes misaligned, this puts pressure on the nerve leaving the cord and compromises the signal that the brain was originally trying to send to rest of the body. This misalignment is called a SUBLUXATION.

CHIROPRACTORS very specifically realign the spine with a chiropractic adjustment and place the misaligned vertebra(e) back in its optimal position. This restores the brain to body communication line and therefore ensures 100% health.

"HEALTH is the state of physical, mental, and social well-being, not merely the absence of disease and infirmity." -Dorland
